Schematic representation of cDNA in wild type (wt) and standard Munchkin cats (sMc) for PCR-type 1. PCR across the deletion from (a) exon 10 (ENSFCAT00000009602.6) or (b) exon 9 (ENSFCAT00000055794.2) to the 3′-UTR (non-deleted region) showed a 493 bp amplicon.
