QTL detected in the rainbow trout genome from unitrait and multiple-trait analyses for gill index and sodium and chloride plasma concentrations 24 h after osmotic challenge at 30 ppt salinity. Only linkage groups with significant or highly suggestive QTL are shown. Linkage groups are labelled according to Guyomard et al. [19] with corresponding physical chromosomes (Omy) according to Phillips et al. [20]. Positions of markers are given on the consensus linkage groups rebuilt with the families of the design (distance in Morgans). Coloured traits indicate the presence of a QTL within the confidence interval with the name of the trait, and the highest level of significance from unitrait and multiple-trait analyses (no symbol: P < 0.10; *: P < 0.05; **: P < 0.01 at the chromosome-wide level and ***: P < 0.005 at the chromosome-wide level and P < 0.05 at the genome-wide level).
